Our Heritage
Prior to 2000, there were two pastoral charges one on each side of the Saskatchewan River: Nipawin-Codette Pastoral Charge and Torch River Pastoral Charge which served Choiceland and White Fox. In 2000, the pastoral charges chose to affiliate under the name "Bridging Waters Pastoral Charge" and share ministry personnel. The name paid homage to the impressive double decker (train-car) bridge that joined our spiritual communities across the broad Saskatchewan River.
